The third Prototron album to be released is a monster package!
The album 'Beasts' is a covers project and a tribute to composers David Whittaker and Tim Wright. These two men were the composers on the fabled Commodore Amiga game trilogy from the late 80's/early 90's 'Shadow of The Beast' and the album features 3 songs from each of the three games.
No chiptunes, no metal, simply recorded in glorious synth interlaced with piano, harps and strings.
Enjoy this re-imagined collection of fantastically written music by these two great composers.

The second Prototron album is a mixture of chiptunes and synth metal covers. The album is based this time on the Sega Megadrive console and features 5 original songs using the Megadrive's soundchips and 5 metal covers of classic Megadrive songs.
More experimental than the first album, the album features the usual melodic trademarks of Prototron but fuses it with dark, minimalist ambient pieces to show a different side of the coin.
As always the album costs nothing to download and you may distribute the pack as freely as you wish but if you do like what you hear then you can make a donation for the amount of your choice by using the button below.
